Founded in 2022, Andrew Conzett Architecture is a Midwest-based design firm offering professional architecture and design expertise to residential, commercial, and community projects of all scales.

We engage with a wide variety of project types and eschew hyper-specialization in favor of a more open ended, creative approach to design.

DESIGN
We strive to create modern design solutions that are elegant, enduring, and add vibrancy to the places they inhabit and provide well-being to the people they engage.

We believe that, regardless of a project’s budget or type, design excellence is achieved through attention to and manipulation of a building’s site, scale and proportion, order and rhythm, and materiality and detailing.

COLLABORATION
Our design process employs a multidisciplinary and research driven approach through which we engage our clients and project partners in a collaborative process of discovery, dialogue, and design.

We begin by listening to our clients and the community to better understand their goals and aspirations. We then develop ideas as a team, working with specialty consultants who offer additional expertise. This purposeful collaboration results in buildings and places that are customized to each project and client.

SUSTAINABILITY
We consider ourselves to be stewards of our project partners’ resources and approach the practice of architecture with integrity and a sense of responsibility for people, materials, and the environment. For each project, we conduct a site assessment which considers environmental, economic, and mission impacts and informs decisions on site design, construction, operations, and maintenance. We explore potential site-specific, long-term risks that impact resilience such as drought, flood, wind, and wildfire. We are actively engaged in research regarding building materials, products, and systems that are responsibly sourced, long lasting, and mitigate environmental harm.
